This is the back view of Mum's tote. It features a large pocket on this side. The "front" of the tote has another, narrower, deeper pocket which is great for a phone or sunglasses. Inside is a light colored lining and yet another pocket with a pen division stitched in. Also, there is a covered elastic loop for holding a bottle or cup of water secure.
Mum's Tote
Here's a tote I've just completed for my mother. Being very ill and in temporary need of a walker or wheelchair, I constructed this walker tote for her. I used the same pattern as my coffee tote and added two more straps that snap on one side so Mum can either sling the tote on the back of a wheelchair or secure it to the rail of a walker. I chose the poppy fabric because Mother loves flowers and would appreciate some color in her surroundings.
